When will my order be shipped?
If the item is in stock, your order will ship within 2-3 business days. Animal treats may take 3 to 7 days to ship, as they are made for freshness daily. If an item is back ordered, you will be notified via e-mail. Custom orders may take longer.
Items are charged in full at the time of purchase and may not arrive in the same box or at the same time.
We use UPS for shipping and try to ship as fast and safe as possible. Our main shipping goal is to insure that you receive your items in perfect condition. You will be given the option for ground, over-night or priority mail if an item is in stock.
Are there any chemicals or preservatives in the animal treats?
No, all of our treats are all natural and contain no preservatives. We bake them in small batches to ensure freshness. All of our pet treats are designed and baked by Petafour’s Gourmet Bakery using only the finest of ingredients.
I know chocolate is not safe for dogs, is carob safe?
Yes, carob is a healthy treat that is an all natural alternative to chocolate (chocolate is very dangerous and should never be given to dogs, as it contains theobromine and can be very toxic). Carob is actually low in fat and calories and has many vitamins such as A, B1, B2, B3 and D, as well as many minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. It is completely natural and the fruit of a carob tree is a pod which is then ground into fine powder. It is 80% rich in protein and dogs with sensitive stomachs do well with carob. The real question is, “Why are you not feeding this delicious delicacy to your pampered pooch?”
How long will the treats stay fresh and what is the best way to store them?
Our treats contain no preservatives so we recommend that you feed them within a month of arrival for optimum freshness. The carob, yogurt and cookie treats will stay fresh longer if stored properly. As the carob and yogurt treats generally have a “shelf life” of six months and the cookie treats two months. However, all treats should be tightly wrapped and stored in a dry cool place upon arrival and at all times.
Are your spa products safe for animals and what are they made out of?
We use all natural spa product ingredients. If you can not pronounce it, we do not use it. Using all natural ingredients is usually safe for all skin types. However, we recommend that you test a small area. All of our animal spa products are human tested fist!

Will the dog shampoo/soap bars wash off Frontline or Advantage?
As a general rule you should not bathe a dog for a few days following a flea treatment. However, all of our soaps are mild and contain no harsh chemicals which will not interfere with flea treatments.
How do you use soap on your dog or horse?
The same way you use it on
humans. Just rub it directly on the
animal and allow it to create a lather.
You may use a sponge or “sudsy
sak” to help create the lather.
Be sure to rinse off all soap well.
Who makes and designs your accessories, gifts, collectibles and jewelry?
We make and design most of our own products. Some of our products do come from other various skilled artists to enhance our collection.

What is your policy for returns/exchanges?
- All sales are final on pet treats and all spa products due to strict health regulations. All other items may be exchanged within five days of receipt for an item of the same or greater value. You may also receive a store credit.
- All items must be returned in its original packaging that it was received in and sent back to us using an insured method such as UPS or FedEx with a tracking number. The customer is responsible for both the original and return shipping charges on all exchanges. We will decide if an item is returned to us unused, in its original condition and packaging. An exchange or store credit will then be issued.
- Please keep in mind that all exchange regulations are made with the health and safety of your pet in mind. Also, please be considerate for the sake of all “other” pets when making an exchange.
- No custom or personalized orders may be returned or exchanged and all sales are final, as they are made to order.
- Please take a moment to measure you or your best friend properly for correct size before placing an order, as most items are usually sent back due to improper fit.
- Our items are inspected by a “Quality Control Team” before being shipped to you so it is unlikely that you will receive a defective item. However, if you do please contact us immediately.
